Today I took this image of some cherry tomatoes I plucked from a plant growing in my back yard just a few days ago. Imagine vine-ripened, organic tomatoes growing in your yard until December! (In southwestern Utah, near St George). World Peace Gardens, is donating more than 100 desert willow trees (Chilopsis linearis) to residents of southwestern Utah. Desert Willows are also known as Desert Orchids because of their beautiful, pink and purple abundant blooms that look like small orchids.
These trees are popular with hummingbirds and grow easily in the desert heat providing shade and shelter for desert homes and gardens. -

We are excited to announce we are now recognized by the Federal Government as an official 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization! This is such great news! We received our letter in record time…what normally takes 3-12 months, we received approval in less than two months. We could not be more thrilled and feel World Peace Gardens are really needed on this planet! Check back often for updates on Events and Gatherings.
